Prayer Trends

Does anyone know of some current books/resources that have followed prayer trends over the past few decades or so?

In 1997 Anderson and Towns wrote Rivers of Revival which they showed in column form nine strategies others believed would spark or stir up revival. They then go on in the next nine chapters to touch upon each of these nine.

For example:

Ed Silvoso's strategy = Organized prayer for blessings and conversion.

Henry Blackaby = People must come to a crisis of belief.

Jack Hayford = Worship.

However, in the realm of prayer trends over the years there seems to be blocks or chunks of time when certain types of prayer have overtaken the church. Warfare prayer, Abiding in prayer, corporate prayer, worldwide prayer, fasting and prayer, forty days of prayer and on.

So does any have any suggestion of a current/up to date type of resource that meets this question?

I think and I hope I'm not being either presumptious or arrogant that many of us have numerous books on and about prayer. Old books, books written by old guys, current books, but not something like what Anderson and Towns have put in their book.

So once again if anyone can suggest something along these lines it would be much appreciated.

mm.
