numbers

Sometimes, like now, I want to put numbers in a text, like in I Sam 13:11, Saul is giving 3 reasons why he didn't wait for Samuel and offered the sacifices.
Some time ago, I started on this, didn't finish, and I don't remember how I got what I got. I got a 1 and a 2, white text enclosed in a blue oval. Pretty. I can't duplicate it. I just 3s that are plain text. I got into a menu where I thought I was creating this, but nothing happened.
Can somebody help me?

I've tried creating what I want and I can't do it. The directions don't make sense to me.

Start with these links. If you are still lost lets try again.

I recommend:
1. Create a New Palette (group of highlighter styles)
2. Create styles within the palette for each number you want

I see that you asked about this feature in the forums in 2019 but maybe that thread didn't give the directions in sufficient detail. This old thread may help you to implement it: https://community.logos.com/forums/p/54930/451792.aspx#451792 - it helped me back then.

The first link you gave me was basic. The second one I got most of the way through and then it just stopped making sense.
You had upright ovals. the only ovals given are horizontal.
text before, text after after what? How about text IN?

Did you check my link to Jacob's post from back in 2013? The ovals are created by the "capsule" checkbox for a new highlight style

nope. if I understand correct, you want to have the oval capsules with the number in the before the text you highlight

Got it. Somebody else found an old post of mine with a similar question, and it worked out very quickly.
I want to thank you so much for trying to help me. I was ready to just give up on this.
Thank you

Glad to hear! I just made a screenshot in case you needed it - maybe another user drops by some day:
Disregard the yellow highlight, that's just my liking for my enumeration highlighting style - Background: Natural Highlighter and then the color - and don't forget to associate with numbers 1, 2, 3... if you use keyboard shortcuts for highlighting
