Banner on home screen
I'm not sure how others feel, but I just wanted to mention the banner that sometimes shows up on the home screen when I start Logos. I don't recall it being used much in the past, so maybe this is a new thing. When the COVID-19 crisis started, I noticed that Faithlife started advertising resources to help churches through this time, which I think is a good thing. Unfortunately, it has remained there and comes up every time I start Logos. In a world where we can almost never get away from the news cycle of this pandemic, I want my Bible study software to be a refuge, a place where I can get away from the troubles of the world, to be restored and go back into the battle. So, I was happy to find that I can turn the banner off, which I've done, but it occurs to me that if I leave it off, I may miss something important in the future.
So, here's a thought: could the banner be programmed to appear for a limited time for each user? For example, if I've seen it 7 times, maybe it could hide itself. When a new banner is loaded, the counter would reset, and I'd see that one 7 times as well. I think most of us are probably aware that we can find these things on the Logos or Faithlife websites, so we don't need to see it every single time.
I'm not trying to complain, just sharing a perspective. Thanks!

Go to Tools > Program Settings and look for Show Alerts. Set that to NO and restart Logos.
