Follow Presentations (Logos 8 Mobile App)

Windows 10 - Faithlife Proclaim Presentation running On Air; Location is set; Bible Trivia, Content Item and Bible Reference (all with "Signals" enabled) are all Service Items that are being displayed.

Android OS - When I select "Presentations" (from the bottom menu) I have the following issues:

  1. Your Proclaim groups: Presentation Team: 0 presentations
  2. Nearby groups: No Nearby Groups
  3. Current location: Unknown (Last updated on Unknown via Unknown)

Because of all these failures I am unable to:

  1. Navigate to the "Signal" items
  2. Participate in the Bible Trivia

The "Signal" icon is supposed to be displayed after clicking on "Presentations" and selecting the Nearby groups but there is no icon being displayed.

When I tested these on a Apple i-Phone (from the Faithlife Study Bible) they all worked fine and the “Signal” icon did display.

    Hi Bernard - and welcome to the forums

    I think the problem is the Unknown location you mentioned (at least this was the case for me!)

    You need to enable Location in the Permissions section of the App (within the phone settings menu)

    Does this enable things as you require?

    I am sorry to hear that you have had this difficulty, Bernard.

    If Graham's solution does not work, please send us your logs by doing the following:

    1. Open the app.
    2. Tap the Menu icon (looks like three horizontal lines)
    3. Tap Help.
    4. Press "Report a Problem".
    5. A pre-addressed email will open with a log file attached automatically.  Press “Send” to send your report.

    We can then look into this further, once we have your logs.

    Thanks Graham - I rectified that and it is now picking up my location.

    It also now does show "Nearby groups" but when I select "Your Proclaim groups" it shows me the groups but underneath each of them the message "0 presentation" appear even though I am running a presentation On Air
