How to add book to search results: example:
Hi and thanks for your help.
How can I make sure that when I do a <Person> search, the book: "All the People in the Bible: An A–Z Guide to the Saints, Scoundrels, and Other Characters in Scripture" is included in the search results?
I have taken this as an example. Maybe I have a book about Places in the Bible, and want it to definitely to be in my search results when I search for Biblical places.
I have just done a search for <Person Habakkuk> and the book "All the People ..." was not in the search results.
Please advise.

Assuming you are doing a search for "All Resources" then every book that contains the search term will appear in the search results
The reason you didn't get a hit in "all the people" is the <Person ...> search requires some additional tagging to be done to the resource and it looks as though this hasn't been done in this particular book.
If you expanded your search string to "<Person Habakkuk> OR Habakkuk" - to find either the tag or the name - then the book would appear in the search results

Check his last sentence. You didn't do it with <Person Habakkuk> OR Habakkuk . That's a search string, not an option with two parts.

Thank you Graham. I saw my mistake, fixed it and got 1 800 results. I think what I must do is to put my favourite Bible dictionaries in a collection. I can then also just Prioritise my Encyclopaedias and just make sure the collection is there.

It's a love-hate relationship. We love the power of the search tools; we hate the complexity. I've been using them a long time and still can't say I'm even a hacker yet.
This thread got me thinking if there's a better way to put search strings in a paragraph so they aren't confusing. I wonder if bold would be helpful. If Graham's reply had looked like this:
If you expanded your search string to <Person Habakkuk> OR Habakkuk - to find either the tag or the name - then the book would appear in the search results
...do you think it would have been easier to see what he was saying? Graham, if you re-read this, what do you think?

I see what you are saying but I don’t know.
It is one of the challenges of this type of engagement that it can be totally clear to me what I mean when I write something but that doesn’t mean it is clear to anyone who might read it!
Actually the best way to make it clear would probably have been if I had included a screenshot showing the search in action.

While I agree that the syntax is complex and requires "esoteric knowledge" to sort out, I also want to add my standard priviso ... much of the complexity is in the user. If the user cannot state what they want to see in precise terms, they will not be able to build a search to find what they want. It is because of the fuzziness of the user side, that I am a glass-half-empty person on a satisfactory simplification of the syntax.

I tend to use bold for a search query, else "<Person Habakkuk> OR Habakkuk" can be taken literally (including the quotes), or be taken as an explanation for <Person Habakkuk>!
