I want to see how the NT refers to Christians, but I can't figure out a search method that brings the results I need. The results I'm looking for would include disciples, Christians, saints, the elect, brothers, etc.

Any ideas?

Unfortunately, I do not think there is any simple search that would group all of those diverse headings together. Neither the Bible Sense Lexicon nor Louw-Nida group those terms, unless someone knows of a book that handles it, you will need to look manually.

That's a shame. Next to the Trinity, Christians are the core of the New Testament. Imagine searching for <Person Jesus> and NOT finding terms like Son or Lord.

I can see your frustration. But there is also no search term for Trinity. You would have to search for the Father, Son and Spirit separately. To block together all possible terms for Christians involves a lot more individual judgment calls than most sense searches, in addition to being labor intensive.

You could try a search based upon Louw-Nida semantic range. The range of words used to describe those in a socio-religious group is 11.12 through 11.54

a search in your preferred translation should yield 848 hits in 710 verses.

Acts 11:26 includes initial use of word "Christians". Bible Browser has Common Divisions for Bible Books (notably lacking is entire New Testament as well as All Epistles and Acts thru Revelation):

Apostle Paul mentions a number of People (includes God, Holy Spirit, Jesus, Christ) in Pauline Epistles:

But there is also no search term for Trinity. You would have to search for the Father, Son and Spirit separately.

Suggest search using four Person terms:

    <Person God> OR <Person Holy Spirit> OR <Person Jesus> OR <Person Christ>
