I’m able to buy this in a BP for $42. How useful is the commentator’s Bible if I already own the Talmud in Logos? (Both little and big version) https://www.logos.com/product/176904/the-commentators-bible
It looks like a collection of Jewish Rabi comments.
Any reviews will be appreciated 👍😁👌

The Talmud is a much earlier work which is assumed by later commentaries. This resource is from medieval rabbis - the ones who debated and influenced medieval Christians. I consider it important.
If you are interested in Jewish exegesis this is a very important resource. These commentators are very influential in Jewish study. If you want to have more background information you could search your library (or Wikipedia) for "Rabbinic Bible" and "Rashi" (or one of the other commentators).
I'll post a screenshot of Exodus 17:11 (using Multiple resources display) to show you what these books look like in Logos:
Thanks HJ and MJ! I went for it! For the price, I don’t think I’ll get a better deal any time soon 👍😁👌
Not offered by Faithlife but somewhat on topic: ArtScroll are offering some free excerpts of various Chumash on their site. And more substantial free offering in their app.
The Genesis volume is on sale. Buying it first reduces the price for the bundle by $40.
I got all 5 volumes for $42 😉 So maybe I should’ve bought Genesis first and then paid just $2 for the rest? 😂😂😂
Nah, it was part of Messianic Gold Base Package, that’s why it was so cheap. Looks great 👍
I don't think it works like that. 😂😂😂
Would be nice though.
But others might consider buying it too, and want to save those five bucks.
I just looked at the mobile and desktop app and it shows 20 resources for this “5 volume” set. It’s been divided into 4 resources per book which I think works better in Logos. As the screenshot by HJ shows: Introduction and Commentary, Hebrew Text, NJPS English Translation and OJPS English Translation. Great layout!
