Export Highlights
Is there a way to compile only the highlights of a document so I can copy or export them?

Do an Inline Search for {Highlight *} to display all highlights.
You can Export to an XPS document, but it stupidly places one highlight per page.

Hi Dave,I was able to figure it out but it's a bit convoluted:
1. Right click on a highlight on your page2. Choose "Open Notes and Highlights" (Only one highlight will show)
3. Under "Filter", click the word "Highlights"
4. "Opened Notes"appears in the results column above
5. click the "x" to close opened notes. Now all the highlights show in the highlights column.
6. select the highlights you wish to export and then click Print/Export in the "Notes selected" column on the right.
7. From there you can "save as" Word, PDF, etc or print.
I don't know if there's an easier way but this does work.0 -

I thought you wanted the highlight in the text. If that is what you want, though:
1.Open Notes in the Tools menu
2. Under "Filter", click the word "Highlights"
- if you want to sort them, click "Bible" under References
3. Select the highlights you wish to export and then click Print/Export in the "Notes selected" column on the right.
4. From there you can "save as" Word, PDF, etc or Print.

Thanks Dave, your method is easier! [:)]0 -
I tried to follow this for a particular inductive highlight that I used through the bible. I wanted to export everything with this particular highlight to a Word file (just the verses; no highlights into Word). I can't make it work. The application just doesn't seem to pick them up accurately. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Todd

Hi Todd
As this is quite an old thread and the software has moved on, I suggest starting a new thread in the Logos 9 forum (assuming that is what you are using) and we'll see if we can help.
Please provide as many details as possible including what you mean by the highlights not being picked up accurately.
Graham
