How to quickly see what a custom annotation is

I think this is a very basic thing I'm overlooking.

I have many custom highlights I've created to represent all sorts of things.

It used to be that when I moved my cursor over them, it would say the name of the annotation style I had created; that would be enough in case I had forgotten the symbol/colors etc. meaning.

Now I don't see that happening any more. I don't know if something changed in logos or a setting was rest somehow with an update.  So I am able to see what it is if I open the information tab but I never have that open and would prefer not to have the extra computation / real-estate required if I can find how to make it behave the way it used to behave.

See photo, the word next to the red line has 2 of my custom highlights (which I happen to remember) but if not, currently I have to have the info window open to see what they are.

I can't remember getting details on hover, so the Info panel is your best way. If you set it to activate on Click, it won't be such drain on the CPU, and have that section as the only active one. The real estate is shared with Cited By, provided you like that on permanent display, but it could be a bigger drain than Info.
