Surely one of the most used and loved resources in Logos/Verbum is the Treasury of Scripture Knowledge. A substantially updated version came out in the 1990's, by Jerome Smith, but this was again substantially updated by him in 2016. This looks like a jaw-dropper, something that everyone should want. Since relatively few users know about UserVoice, I think, and relatively few browse it, I think very few know that they would be doing themselves a favor by going to https://suggestbooks.uservoice.com/forums/308269-book-suggestions/suggestions/18446248-the-ultimate-cross-reference-treasury and voting. I just brought the vote count up to 78.
I actually came upon this while searching for resources that give figures of speech; I wished that the Bullinger work or its dataset would either be link-set-able with Bibles, or work as a pop-up, much as parsing info will pop up when the mouse cursor is hovered over a word in a Greek Bible. What I read led me to understand that neither Bullinger resource in Logos/Verbum operates in either of these ways, but the New Treasury marks some figures of speech, and the new Ultimate Cross Reference Treasury has much more of this, and a much more wonderful set of cross references.
These things being the case, I have a couple of questions:
1. Does Faithlife have any concrete plans to bring this new book in, at this point?
2. If not, would Jerome Smith, who I think contributes at these forums, consider making and selling the book as a Personal Book for Logos/Verbum, such that it could be put in a link-set with a Bible as the TSK can be? It is my understanding that something like this was done for E-Sword. (I hope it's alright for me to ask.)
Have a great day, everyone!
