help appreciated / greek / hebrew
I have only the basic 8, and the starter pack of books, some free books and a few others.
If I am reading in the KJV or Lexam, which ever is easier to utilize for hebrew / greek
How would I highlight a specific word, say
the word serpent
in
Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made.
IS there a way to highlight that word and
1) see the underlying hebrew word with definition
2) other scriptures with that underlying hebrew word even if different in english
I'd be happy if I could do 1, but, in case 1 is possible with what I have, asked about 2
If that is not possible with what I have, does anyone have something that works for them

Your Starter has 'reverse interlinears' that allow you to do the lookup and searches. Your Basic has the BDB hebrew lexicon, and a very basic greek lexicon. So, you should have what you need.
The easiest way is to right-click over 'serpent', then in the menu on the left, select 'lemma' (mouse over the little symbols). Then on the right side, you can select searches, your lexicon, etc.
For sure your Lexham will work. Not exactly sure about the KJV ... there's several. Try it.

Right Click on serpent (in a Bible with Reverse Interlinear: LEB, KJV, CSB, ESV, NIV, NASB, NRSV are in Logos 8 Starter)
Click Lemma (has Bible Word Study ring icon) on left side of context menu
In Lookup on Right Side, hovering mouse over Lexicon has a pop-up while clicking Lexicon causes Tab to open having Lemma in Lexicon

Right Click on serpent

Click Bible in Search section (changing Bible Search to All Bibles can show which ones have Reverse Interlinear)
To find related family of Hebrew words:
Right Click on serpent
Click Root (has square root icon) on left side of context menu
Click Bible in Search section (changing Bible Search to All Bibles can show which ones have Reverse Interlinear)
Grid display in Bible Search allows a Bible Header to be clicked (e.g. CSB) to show verses in that translation.

Appreciate it, may have to upgrade to the basic starter. Just have the [free] version of 8 Been studying the term "serpent" or "satan" and pondering genesis 3 --- pondering the fact that WHY is the serpent in the garden. WHY does the Lord permit him to be there
. It's in Revelation also where Satan is loosed after a 1000 year reign, and he is loosed to deceive the nations... WHY. So far I have gotten as far as "HE works ALL things after the Counsel of His OWN Will" and that counsel does not include me. One reason I was pondering words. stephen0 -

My purchased library includes more features (e.g. Lemma in Passage is in Bronze and higher) and resources (e.g. Commentaries, customized title prefixes with = are in my Top 2 Commentary series)
