Is Logos performance the same in Spanish?

I suspected it, but now I got an almost official confirmation. Don't know in others languages, but in Spanish you don't get the maximum performance from Logos 8. Actually, since I supposedly got a "bilingual" version of the software, I was advised to always set the language to English in the settings.

I'd like to know in which areas I'm limited in using Spanish instead of English settings, and if this type of limitation will eventually disappear.

[:D] Ok. mmmm I'll tell you... I had an issue and somebody from the technical department strongly suggested me to do so (set the language to English). But beyond this, I heard Morris Proctor say that the Hebrew-English inverse interlinear has more functionalities than the Hebrew-Spanish. Some idioms, for example. Of course I understand that idioms are different from language to language. But, going back to the suggestion I received, I still wonder if all these stuff is true, or, if the English settings produces fewer issues.

Performance is not expected to be lower with the Software UI in Spanish compared to English. If you give us more details about the performance issues you are referring to, we can look further into it.

I have not claimed that Logos' performance is lower in Spanish. What I said is that, based on the advice I received (set the configuration to English), I suspected that it could be slower. Now, I don't want to get into a discussion here. I just want to understand what technical limitations there will be, for Logos to handle a multilingual environment and, if possible, avoid them.

For example, I ran this search. ["2 Peter" AND Jude]. Got results only in English. My resources in Spanish were ignored. On the other hand, if I search for ["2 Pedro" AND Judas], I will only get results from my resources in Spanish. The scope of both searches was "Everything".

This kind of thing is what I would like to understand.

In other words, I would have expected that, regardless of the language, when you select "1 Chronicles", you also select "1 Crónicas", or Jude / Judas or 2 Peter / 2 Pedro, and when you execute a search regardless of the language selected, you will get the results of all your resources. Of course all this only in case your'e looking for books, verse or biblical persons, etc.

So I'm asking more than affirming.

En esta situación lo importante es utilizar el comando adecuado para cada idioma.

Idioma ingles AND

Idioma español Y

Veras los mismo resultados.
