Layout of Daily Devotional from Dashboard Link
You know how sometimes something really small and inconsequential gradually gets on your nerves?
I have a link on my Dashboard to a Daily Devotional. Great, I click the link on my Home screen and it opens up on today's date ready for me to read. What niggles me is that it always opens on the right side of the screen and I'd like it to open on the left.
I know I can drag it across each day, and often I do, but I'm thinking there really must be a way in this great software to do something as simple as open a Daily Devotional on the left instead of the right! I've tried setting the Devotional Quickstart Layout but that doesn't affect it, and I don't think setting it as a named layout will be any good as it would never open on the correct day.
Anyone got any bright ideas?

Alternative idea is creating a shortcut for opening Devotion to Today's Date.
In Open Daily Devotion tab, Copy Location as URL
Paste URL into Command Box
Remove Day reference from URL (from end of URL to ?) followed by dragging Resource pop-up to create shortcut:
Close Daily Devotion tab.
To open Daily Devotion to Today's Date: drag Devotion shortcut to desired location.

Wow, that was quick!! [:O]
Many thanks. I had previously created a shortcut by simply dragging to the toolbar, but it didn't open on the correct day using that method. I've followed your instructions on creating the shortcut using the URL and will see what happens tomorrow.
Regardless - I promise to keep smiling [:D]
