Dear DAL,
I want to ask you why it’s worth to buy the Compton’s Encyclopedia? I was thinking about purchasing the Factbook Collection. Nevertheless, I was not sure if it is worth to spend money on resources like this Encyclopedia that is quite old. What do you think?

Not DAL, but I found that in the Factbook collection I was only missing Compton's Encyclopedia and thus got a dynamic sale price of about $10 - that pushed it for me. You may confuse this with other encyclopedias, though: Compton's is only 5 years old - the reason I deliberated so long was that Compton is marketed as the "teens version" of Encyclopedia Britannica (which the EB people tried to sell to Logos users as the real thing some years ago), and is this really something I need in Logos? All kinds of encyclopedic information may be found on the web, so probably "need" is too strong a word, but I like to have all kinds of dictionaries and encyclopedias in my library - and at the price point, I think it is worth it. YMMV

I thought Compton's came free with Brittanica when introduced. That was the very definition of imbroglio.

I like Logos product searches ... Comptons doesn't mean Comptons. 'Oh, maybe you wanted Comptons?'.
