Change highlight style of multiple highlights or notes

I am trying to bring more consistency to my highlights and notes.

I want to change the highlight style and color of multiple highlights and notes as a batch. There are 2 situations:

1. I want to do a "search and replace" in a particular resource for all highlights/notes of one highlight style and color and change them to a different highlight style or color.

2. I would like to do the same with a subset of highlights or notes in the resource. For example, I might want to set all of the highlights in a certain resource that contain the word "revelation" to a particular color.

In the Notes tools, I can select multiple highlights/notes and change the highlight style for the batch.

But I cannot see a way to filter the highlights/notes by highlight style and color so I only make the change for notes with a certain highlight style and color.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The Notes tool cannot filter for highlight style. To identify styles you can Search for {Highlight palette/stylename} or {Highlight stylename}. To search for a word within a highlight, you can use e.g. revelation WITHIN {Highlight stylename}. Then you can manually change the style.

To accomplish what you want, first change the styles that have a certain word (point 2.), then you can change all highlights of one style (point 1.) using {Highlight stylename} to identify them. If you want to change a style in all resources,  click the Style name in the Highlight tool and select Restyle annotations (you can do the same if your Search shows that a style is confined to a single resource).

If a Note has a highlight style (not the icon colour) it will show in the {Highlight....} search.
