I am looking for a resource that will assist me in my daily Bible reading. In my devotional reading time I read through the Bible one book at a time. Currently I am reading in the book of Job. What I am looking for is a resource that I can read that will follow along with the chapters in the Bible that I am reading. I am allowing about an hour for this, with my Bible reading taking about 15 minutes or so, that leaves about 45 minutes of background reading. I am thinking maybe a survey, introduction, one volume commentary or perhaps a series of lesson guides. Is anyone doing something similar? Do you have any suggestions for possible resources? Thanks!
