Unable to Install Logos on MBP running Catalina
Hey forum friends, I haven't been on here in some years but now that I'm back to using a Mac and having some trouble, I'm hoping someone might help me figure out what's happening. I just set up a 2014 MBP i7 2.2GHz running Catalina yesterday and right after signing in to Logos for the installation, the "Setting up Library" was in process then crashed. Now, as soon as I try to launch Logos it crashes immediately. I've tried uninstalling and starting over, but clearly some residual files remained on my MBP because it bypasses the sign-in and starts downloading but crashes within seconds. I can post crash logs if that is helpful, but any direction is welcomed and appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Mark,
1) Did you copy the logos app from the DMG to the Application folder? Are you sure you are trying to run it from the Application folder?
2) To completely uninstall go to your user Library folder, then Application Support, then find and delete the Logos4 folder. Also, look in the Library/Preferences folder for files with "logos" in them to delete.
3) Post logs...see my signature line for how.

Thanks for the instructions, I was able to get rid of everything and am about to start over. But yes, my installation process is to first unpack the DMG by double clicking, then dragging it to the application folder. For reinstallation, should I download Logos 7 or 8?

Use the latest version of Logos 8

Logos Wiki macOS Troubleshooting has => Uninstalling Logos for Mac with a few more "logos" files/folders to delete for complete uninstall.

Concur with Logos 8 installation => https://www.logos.com/install
Logos Wiki => Logos Release History includes Logos 8.8 is macOS 10.15 Catalina compatible (seem to remember older versions crash).
Keep Smiling [:)]

Thank you, everyone. I've successfully installed Logos 8 and it is indexing. Looking forward to using it and seeing how it performs. Thanks again for the help in this community. Be blessed, all.
