Why does my logos desktop have different resources depending on what computer I use
Is there a way to have Logos open up on my laptop, to where I left off on my desktop. Despite having the same saved layouts there is no sync between devices. They open with very different resources open. It is very hard to get the sermon prep going when I have to redo the work from one device to another.

Hi Peter
What (seems) to work for me is having an 'Update Active Layout' button on my shortcut bar.
I got that by dragging the appropriate command from the 'Go' bar to the shortcut bar.
Using that, along with being very careful to open exactly the same layout on my second machine, seems to work for me.
You do of course also have to be careful to allow the sync to complete.
If you are opening to very different resources I would guess you are not opening the same layout on the second machine.

You can (1) manually update the layout via "Update active layout" (it is a Command that you can drag to the Shortcut bar, as opposed to doing it in the Layouts menu). Alternatively, (2) you can use the Program Setting At Startup Open to "Most recent layout - any" (as opposed to "local") on both devices.
For the first (1), you have to update the layout before switching to the other device. On the other device, open that updated layout from the Layouts menu i.e. check the timestamp. If you want to open Logos to that layout, select it in Program Settings At Startup Open to. This is probably the simplest way provided you allow a few minutes for the manually updated layout to sync.
For the second (2), you have to close Logos before switching to the other device. If Logos is open on the other device, you will have to re-open it after allowing time for the layout to sync. This best fits your request of opening Logos to where you left off, but it adds a few seconds to the startup time.
