Dear Faithlife
Re: Kregel Exegetical Library and Kregel Handbook for OT and NT Exegesis
May I know if Faithlife is intending to add new volumes to the above series?
Seems like the other competitors have already done so.
Thank you.
Here’s an update on prepub: https://www.logos.com/product/190137/handbooks-for-old-testament-and-new-testament-exegesis-update
Are these new volumes or are you talking about something else?
Thanks DALHas anyone any views on how useful the handbooks are?
This Volume would serve you better: https://www.logos.com/product/39653/interpreting-the-pauline-epistles-2nd-ed
DAL
edit: The principles found in this book work on any other book of the Bible great job done by Schreiner!
Thank you all for your advice.
I notice that for the Kregel Exegetical Library, the commentaries on Romans, James and the Minor Prophets are absent.
I am wondering if Faithlife would be adding these newer volumes which are already available with certain competitors.
Thank you for pointing out the pre-pub on the handbooks. I didn't realize they have this product.
Here’s the Romans prepub: https://www.logos.com/product/190877/a-commentary-on-romans
Thanks. Looked promising so have bought it!!
EDIT: Just scanned over the introduction and first chapter. I think I like it!

The Kregel handbooks give you extra methods, but Schreiner’s steps are included since after all is about interpreting passages. So a cheaper way is to just get Schreiner and you should be all set. I have the kregel volumes, but for a solid shorter read, Schreiner is better IMHO 👍😁👌
We are still missing a commentary on James from the Kregel exegetical library. A commentary on Romans it’s already on pre-pub we need the James volume. An unexpected great series 👍😁👌
