Downloading audio?
Hi folks! I've become a walker in these covid times (until soccer is back on! ), and was wondering - is it possible for me to download whatever audio files are available to me on my courses in Logos onto my phone for listening to as I walk? Needless to say I don't want to use my data plan to do that.
Are they stored as MP3s anywhere? How does that work?
Thanks for your help!

Go to the Book Info screen (via the 3-dot icon). There you will see Media Downloads. Tap that and you will see a menu of chapters that you can download.

Thanks Levi, I've done that, but here's the problem: all it does is download massive files to my phone, and I can't shut the phone screen off to listen to it - this means that my phone will die long before my one-hour walk is over as this is battery-intensive video.
So my further question becomes: are there MP3 versions of the course that we can listen to instead, that won't tax my battery resources anywhere near as much as I traipse along happily on my daily walk? [H]
See what I mean? Thanks again!

Carmen for each course you own there could be 4 actual resources, the main resource, videos, audio, and some have activities. If you go into the Audio, then to Book Info, then Media Downloads, you can download just the audio media, which at least on my android will happily play offline in the background with screen off.

Yes there are. Most courses have a textbook, an activity resource, a video resource and an audio resource. If you open the audio resource, you can "download all media". Those are in fact mp3s. They download into the WebCache folder, and may have about 12MB each. Unfortunately, they get an arbitrary name, but you can simply change that to get an .mp3 file extension.Have joy in the Lord!

Yay! That did it... as expected, I had downloaded The Wrong Thing!
Thanks all!
I am just finishing up a terrific audiobook, "A Change of Affections", by Becket Cook. Once I'm done that, it's CH351 - A History of Heresies by Michael Bird, which I got through Logos' $50 course special. THANKS LOGOS!
