Search for the number of times a phrase or like phrase appears
Does Logos have the ability to tell me how many times a phrase or a like phrase appears in scripture? It's sort of a very specific question for a vague search.
For example, I would like to know how many times "fear not because I (the Lord) am with you" appears in scripture.
Thanks in advance!

You can search for a phrase by enclosing it in quotes. In this case (left side of the screen) there are no hits in my Top Bibles. The Fuzzy Search section shows "close hits.
On the right I have split the phrase down into two phrases and searched for where both phrases are present in the same verse - that is sometimes a useful technique.
Does this help at all?

Thanks, I just tried. Maybe I missed it but doing this did not bring up Joshua 1:9, one of the most likely uses.

I found it in the fuzzy search results - I had to scroll down a bit

"Fear not" is likely if you were brought up on certain translations! But it only appears in Douay-Rheims bible for Josh 1:9! KJV or similar use "be not afraid"! Modern bibles use "do not be afraid" or "do not be frightened". Fuzzy Bible search will get results because it allows for expressions similar to "fear not".
