I am slowly weaning myself from well over 200 molasses-filled collections to accomplish the same thing with tags.

I know what the following filters do:

communitytag:XXXX
mytag:XXXX

But what exactly does this do?

tag:XXXX

Is it this?

communitytag:XXXX + mytag:XXXX = tag:XXXX

On a side note, does anyone find tagging to actually be worth the hassle? I've tried tagging notes/highlights and tagging resource but eventually given up on each as I find that I then need to perform special search operators or filter functions that only complicate the process to such a degree that it feels like a waste of time.

I found that I wasted more time trying to figure out how to correctly search and filter tags, in addition to the extra time I spent creating tags, to bring up the relevant results than if I had just tried to find it the usual way I went about finding it.
