I have to double check two day's worth of work because my reference collection does not include Richards, Sue Poorman, and Larry Richards. Every Woman in the Bible. Nashville, TN: T. Nelson Publishers, 1999. which should be type:encyclopedia and therefore in my collection. Please move from monograph to encyclopedia.

The following are members of the same series:

  • Every Angel in the Bible
  • Every Man in the Bible
  • Every Name of God in the Bible
  • Every Woman in the Bible

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

You're digging deep on this on MJ! I was looking through the history of these and they're almost 15 years old.

I'll have to think about this one a bit more.

All four titles are organized by chapter. And there aren't any headwords that organize the Every Angel and Every Name of God. I think they need to stay as a monograph.

Every Man and Every Woman are trickier. They're organized by chapter and don't always have an encyclopedic structure but sometimes do. Then they have a glossary at the end of the book that is very much like an encyclopedia. I'm going to think some more on how to handle those two.

These resources have been quite helpful to me in the past. The articles provide good summaries on the various men, women, angels, names of God etc.

Any improvement of their integration into Factbook etc. should be highly beneficial.
