When I highlight a paragraph or passage, I select the text with my mouse, then use the control+k. Is there a way to just use my mouse to highlight?
It would be nice if I could right click and then have the highlight option available.
Thanks,
Ron
Ronald, you can use other keys that you designate to the individual highlighting styles, not only CTRL+K. See the setup of highlight styles. You than hit for example key "R" for red, "Y" for yellow etc.
Ron,
Perhaps you should make this suggestion in the Suggestion Forum and/or add it to the Customer Feedback site: http://logos.uservoice.com/forums/42823-logos-bible-software-4
Hi, Ron, This way is almost what you want. Go to Tools>Highlighting>right click on the color or emphasis you want>click Shortcut Key and the down arrow beside it>click a letter of the alphabet (for example "R" for red highlighting or for "Red Foreground" if you prefer that). Then close highlighting.
Now use your mouse/cursor to highlight what you want to mark and hit the "r" key, Voila! You can use all 26 letters of the alphabet for different colors and/or emphases. Highlighting and then hitting your hot key will do the trick.
Good luck,
Steve
I should add the picture, so here it is:
Thanks. I'd forgotten about the highlighting shortcut keys.
