Scripture Quote Format Problem

I'm trying to edit a style to get a certain format when copying scriptures. I write LOTS of articles for carm.org and have quoted thousands of verses over the years from Logos... which is awesome!

Here's an example of what I'm trying to get as a result of copying scriptures for articles... I can get close, but not exact.

"Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. 3 For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory," (Colossians 3:2-4).



Note:

1. Each verse number shows up in the quote, except for the FIRST number/beginning of the quote.

2. There are no quotes-marks following each numbered verse WITHIN the quote of verses.

3.  The Scripture quote begins and ends with a quote-marks

4. The ending quote is like this, 

"Set your mind...in glory," (Colossians 3:2-4). 

In other words, there is a            ," (        style for the format ending of the verses.

I don't think it is doable, but I don't know for sure.  Thanks in advance for any help.

    You can't get exact, because

         1. the verse numbering will apply to every verse

         2. you can't control punctuation (quotes or other) that is part of the verse text

    The closest style is:

    %NoCharFormatting
    %NoParFormatting
    %NoRedLetter
    %NoFootnotes
    %NoCitation

    =Header
    <p>"
    =ForEachVerse
    [VerseNum] [VerseText]
    =Footer
    ,” ([FullPassageRef], [Version])</p>

    producing:

    "2 Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. 3 For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory.,” (Colossians 3:2–4, NASB95)

    So you have to edit the beginning verse number and the end punctuation (the version should be included when quoting). With other quotations you may also have to edit the beginning verse punctuation.

    Thanks... that is what I ended up with and it still causes me to work.  I wish logos would improve this issue.

    Anyway, thanks.  I appreciate it.  It's nice to know your solution was the same as mine.  But I wish it was better.  Ah, that's the limits of logos.... so far.
