Uploaded Media as Reference or Header Slide

Is there a way to upload media and use it as a background for reference or header slides?

Uploaded media defaults to just a content slide, and I don't find anywhere to change that. Is it possible?

I would like to know this as well. When I upload slides, the option to have verse reference on the slides is missing.
