URGENT: HANG: Logos hangs on this search and when trying to restart after it
I did a search for <Matt 5:1-12> in the Revised Common Lectionary
Logos said it found 46 results in 23 articles but then hung when trying to display the results. It just sat there showing this forever until I finally gave up and had to End Task from the Task Manger.
Log file here: 0250.LogosLog2020-07-25.zip
I then tried to restart Logos and it hung at the splash screen. Again I had to End Task.
Log file here -- not much in it. 5140.Logos.log
Now I'm completely stuck and can't start Logos at all. I tried starting with CTRL key held down so I could open to a blank layout, but it doesn't start at all now (not even a splash screen). Here's the log file after several tries of this:1200.Logos.log

We need to see what Windows Event Viewer says

There was no entry in Windows Event Viewer for the time period in question (6:58pm - 7:11pm). The Errors you see later (7:24pm) are from when I shut down the computer and they are all irrelevant to Logos. They refer to Volume Shadow Copy Service encountering an error because "A system shutdown is in progress."
I don't think Logos crashed. It just got hung in an infinite loop somewhere. Eventually when I rebooted my computer and started Logos back up again, it seems to have recovered from the problem and was able to populate the Search tab with results. I don't know if I can reproduce the hang again now.

That's good.
