Hi, I've noticed that in the verse cross references sometimes "comp" is used. I've seen "comp" in citations to mean "compiler" but this usage seems different. Example: https://biblia.com/books/kjv1900/1Co3.2 footnote f for "for." Can anyone help clarify this?
"Compare," equivalent to the abbreviation c.f. (which is from the Latin "confer"= compare)
