Problem with Malachi 2:10 in the CSB translation
When I looked up Malachi 2:10 (CSB) in my Windows 10 desktop Logos 8 (version 8.15.0.0004), I noticed what appeared to be a huge grammar error. This caused me to look up that verse in other CSB Bibles (outside my Logos version). What I found was that what it says in my Logos version of Malachi 2:10 (CSB) isn't even what Malachi says in other CSB products.
Here is a copy-and-paste of Malachi 2:10 from my Logos 8 version of CSB..
===========BAD
10 Don’t all of us have one ancestors? Didn’t one God create us? Why then do we act treacherously against one another, profaning the covenant of our fathers?

Here's what Malachi 2:10 should say...
===========GOOD
10 Don’t all of us have one Father? Didn’t one God create us? Why then do we act treacherously against one another, profaning the covenant of our ancestors?

This isn't strictly a typo error. So I didn't report it using the built in REPORT A TYPO method. I didn't know where else to report this so I'm posting it here hoping that the report will make it to Logos support.
BTW, the same bad info shows up in my mobile version of Malachi 2:10 (CSB)
Makes me wonder how many times I've preached or taught Bible lessons using incorrect Scripture from Logos.
Thanks,
Jerry

Based on information at https://csbible.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/CSBTextRevisions2020.pdf It appears that the word "Father" appears twice in the verse. The CSB editors in January of this year changed the 2nd "fathers" to "ancestors" but the Faithlife team changed the FIRST "Father"
I used the "report TYPO" feature to explain this to Faithlife. FYI the resource info on the errant CSB:2020 is
LLS:CSB

Thank you, Dave, for being so prompt. I read the pdf you pointed me to. It looks like a correction may have been made at the end of the verse. However, the real and HUGE problem with that verse in my desktop and mobile version is found at the end of the first sentence where the question is asked...
"Don’t all of us have one ancestors?"
The incorrect word ancestors that appears at the beginning does not show up in the PDF (either as a BEFORE or AFTER). IOW, in the PDF, the first sentence in both the BEFORE and AFTER read "Don’t all of us have one father?" But, as I mentioned, that's not how my version reads.
Are corrected versions of CSB automatically synced with my Logos?
Thanks again...
Jerry

Ok, after reading your second reply, I think I understand. It looks like Logos is where the problem lies. Looks like they simply updated the wrong iteration of Father. I wonder...are manually updating digital corrections? [:)]
Thanks again.

I've reported this to the Content Production team; thanks for letting us know!

Thanks! The change log from the publisher said to replace fathers with ancestors. We got the wrong instance. We'll get it fixed.
