List of missing resources

I would like to find out a comprehensive list of resources for certain functions of the program that I am missing. For example, once I bring up the 'Timeline' tool, there is not a single book in my library that explains the historical events listed. Is it possible to generate a list of resource categories that are completely unfulfilled within my Logos library in order to ascertain what purchases to make? If not, is it otherwise possible to do a search or the like that would bring up empty categories?

Thank you!

There isn't any way to do this. Sorry!

Would be a great feature! Is there any way to see a list of all 'tools' to be able to go through them one by one?

I would start by reviewing the list on the “Full Feature Set” product page.

The Logos Feature Collections might be of some help, as they contain resources specifically linked to various tools/features. They have one for the Timeline Tool https://www.logos.com/product/55443/timeline-collection

Thank you, exactly what I needed!

Bear in mind those are for expanding the tool. There are other resources that are included in base packages that also link in to the Timeline tool. For example: Baker Encyclopedia of the Bible, Tyndale Bible Dictionary, The International Standard Bible Encyclopedia (Revised) and The Lexham Bible Dictionary.

Yep, am aware. I didn't even have Dynamic Pricing for the Timeline Collection, so that's been added to the wishlist to be purchased in the very near future, as well as the Textual Variants Collection (I own only one small resource out of the whole list). My base package is a custom seminary Gold level collection, but I guess they missed the tool.

Base packages and feature sets are now sold independent of one another, although you are given the option to purchase both at the same time.

When considering features, you have two options: purchase or subscription (Faithlife Connect). I prefer to own resources and subscribe to features. When purchasing, you should consider the various feature sets. If you are trying to add several things, there may be more "bang for the buck."

Lastly: We do not know when L9 will come out. FL does provide advanced notification. However, they have said in the past that they are on about a two year release cycle. If that holds true, we should expect L9 (and the associate packages and discounts) to be released sometime later this year.

    Hi Ilya,

I have edited this reply.  Sorry, at first I said I would send you an email, but I now realize that all is needed is a fairly simple explanation.

You already own the Timeline Tool.  However, the Timeline Tool is not included in the Timeline Collection.  It is simply a collection of books that work well with the Timeline Tool that you already have.  Your learning institution did not miss this tool.  You do not get dynamic pricing for the Timeline Collection because you do not yet own any of the resources included in it.

Hey Joe, thanks for the reply! I'm aware of all that you have intimated, sorry I wasn't clear. It must be an Australian thing! What I meant by 'missing resources' isn't resources that I have paid for but rather resources that I would consider essential that I do not have. Likewise, what I meant by my seminary 'missing' the Timeline tool is 'glancing over' it, considering it unimportant, as the Gold-level package didn't include one single book that integrates with the Timeline tool at all, hence my remark about dynamic pricing, meaning that I don't own any of it at all.

It would be my suggestion to allow users to view such 'deficiencies' in their libraries by allowing them to generate lists of books which integrate with the tools they have access to and ascertain if they don't have a single book to go with a tool.

I do however have only a temporary licence for 26 resources that were part of the package that I bought outright, but that's a different issue.
