Highlights adding empty notes to my latest notebook
For years I have used the "A" key on my keyboard as a shortcut to highlight whatever text I have selected in the book I am reading. At some point this started adding empty notes to one of my notebooks. I now have hundreds of of empty notes in that notebook linked to every highlight in every book I have read recently. This is not something I intended, and it is going to make it difficult to find real notes in that notebook. So I have two questions:
1. How do I get this to stop happening? I make notes in that notebook all the time, but I don't want highlights to also end up there.
2. How do I clean up that notebook without losing my highlights in the books?

you select all the highlights in this notebook and reassign the notebook to "no notebook" (or another notebook of your choice)
