Problem with installation
I have a problem with installation which I have made worse
I was tidying up my installed apps and noticed there was an old version of Logos 4. When trying to install it asked for a file which it said it couldn't find. So I tried removing it manually, by first uninstalling Logos 8 then removing any Logos related entries in the registry. Finally I tried to reinstall Logos 8 but it says that it can't find the file "logos-x64.msi" and then when I press Next it says installation was NOT completed successfully.
I'm stuck! Can anyone help me?

Exactly where did you see that? Did you have a working version of Logos 8 prior to that?
In general, for a fresh install you only need to:-
- uninstall whatever versions of Logos are in Programs and Features
- Logos Bible Software 4 and Logos4 PreRequisites (if applicable); or
- Logos Bible Software (later versions)
- delete the folder C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Logos4 and/or C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Logos
- delete HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Logos4 from Registry (nothing else)
- install Logos 8

Thank you. It certainly helped![:)]
What I did was delete everything you told me to. When I ran logos setup it asked me if I wanted to repair my installation, which I did and it loaded okay!
