If I am reading the release notes correctly, a new help panel has been implemented. But I can't seem to find it. Can someone send me a screen shot or written description of where I need to look to find it? Please and thank you.
In the command bar type "show help"
Thanks for helping me find the help! That got the job done. The command bar is very versatile!
Shouldn't there be a clickable hyperlink to get the help panel to open? I think there's a clickable "Help" button in the PC/Windows version.
I would like to see a menu item for most of the things that can only be done from the command box. I think that is the point of having menu items. I cannot remember all of those commands and I should not have to look at a list in Help. It also helps to learn the system by visually exploring the menu items rather than commands. At least that is my opinion, for what it is worth.
For anyone who wants to know what commands are available.

You can also just press F1.
Hope this helps.
EDIT: I see that this is regarding the MAC version, and I can't see the same question mark icon in any of the screen-shots of the Mac version. Sorry. Maybe there's a link under File or Edit or Tools on the upper bar.

All you have to do is click on the question mark icon in the upper right hand corner and choose Logos Bible Software Help. You can also just press F1.
So we have a HELP Panel but not a HELP menu to access the panel...
Yes! Personally, it is so useful to have access to Help that I can put up with the "inconvenience" of having to type Show Help into the command bar until such time as the Mac developers incorporate it into the menu bar. [:)]
I can put up with the "inconvenience" of having to type Show Help
But Alan, then I have to type 9 characters (counting the space bar) to get help! Not only that, I have to type them in the correct order, because if I type "shwo hlpe" I get no help... it feels so unfair!
And it's not just that, I also have to move the pointer and click on the Command area, and then press "Enter" at the end... I just want to click the mouse...[:'(]

Why not just open the help, drag it above the shortcut bar til you see a green plus sign, and then drop it. Then you have a help button.
Of course, Dewayne! Thanks! [:D]
Now why didn't I think of that? [:S]
Well, as my dad once said, "If you had brains, son, you'd be dangerous!"
You could also just click on the "Help" menu in the menu bar. It was added in Alpha 27 yesterday.
Great! I love the new menu! Thanks, Fernando
