Working With Layouts - Non Logos Resources

I have some print resources and other resources that I want to refer to when working in a Layout. I am looking for a way to have them listed in my layout. I have tried it with a personal book but I think maybe a notebook or workflow might work better.  Basically what I want to  do is list additional resources - Title - Author - where it is located (print book, website, other software, audio, video etc.)  What do you suggest?  Thanks for your help.

Basically what I want to  do is list additional resources - Title - Author - where it is located (print book, website, other software, audio, video etc.) 

External links no longer work in Notes, but you can drag an external document into Favorites or the Shortcut bar, and the link will work.

You can create folders and sub-folders in Favorites and Rename the link, so that is more flexible than the Shorcut bar with its limited space.
