How to Search for a Sermon Topic on Mobile?
I really enjoy reading Spurgeon's sermons but I can't figure out how to search for them based on a topic using mobile.
On the desktop, sermons are displayed in the passage guide section. But they do not appear in the passage guide on mobile.
On the desktop, sermons are displayed in the sermon starter guide. But there is no such feature on mobile.
I tried using search operators but I couldn't figure out a way that worked. All of the stuff below is on desktop (I figured I would try it there first and then see if it worked on mobile).
I am in the search tab Basic and have Everything selected:
author:spurgeon title:salvation (doesn't work)
author:spurgeon heading:salvation (doesn't work)
author:spurgeon headtitle:salvation (doesn't work)
author:spurgeon <PreachingTheme Salvation> (doesn't work)
Now here is the really interesting part... and it seems to be a problem on desktop and mobile... on the desktop, let's say I open up "The New Park Street Pulpit Sermons, Vol. II" and search in the reference "heading:salvation" I get three results. So it's picking it up when I have the resource open... but it doesn't work on the basic search everything tab.
How in the world is this so complicated and can anyone here help me solve this? I wish instead of adding new features to Logos, FaithLife would spend time on how their search works because it's just way too complicated.
