Bug--Visual Filters Trying to Check or Uncheck Notes & Highlights?

1. Closed all windows
2. Open 3 commentaries that don't have 
3. Open 4th commentary, William Barclay's Daily Study Bible on Philippians, Colossians, & Thessalonians.
1. Since I haven't opened it in a long time, it defaulted to Show Notes & Highlights, at bottom on visual filters.
2. Attempt to check or uncheck Notes & Highlights.
4. Logos is already locked up, as soon as I scroll to bottom of visual filters.

Repeat above till I get tired of opening task manager to kill Logos tasks.

Is it a bug, or do I have a corrupt DSB resource?

Open the Notes tool and check the Resource filter. How many for the DSB? Is that average or exceptional compared to other resources?

Dave, had a much longer response, but I got an error each time I tried to post it, likely because I pasted pix into the post vs. uploading them; I'll try again via uploading pix.

Thanks for the response, Dave. I didn't see any notes in DSB, but the 1599 Geneva Bible Footnotes had many all thru.  I'll supply a couple of pictures that may be relevant.

Since I'm suspicious of 1599 Geneva Bible Footnotes, here's a Logos screen shot, all set to lock up if I check or uncheck Notes & Highlights:

Sorry for the partial posts--they never showed up the 1st couple of times I checked in afterward; today is the 1st time I saw them. I got an error when I clicked "Post" 2 times, due to images I copied & pasted into the typing window vs. uploading them. If someone deletes them, I'd be grateful. (I can't, today; too long afterward.)

Lastly, do any of you have insight whether this is a bug or.... this is the only resource having this problem. I unchecked the 1599 Geneva Bible Footnotes, yesterday, from another resource & the response time was seconds... not lockup. With the DSB Philippians resource, that's not the case.

Does Logos have counsel on how to fix it? MVPs? Anyone? Should I try removing the DSB resource from my library (not sure how--maybe excluding it?) & downloading it again?

I don't know what the connection may be if it no Notes, but go ahead and remove the resource in Library (right-click, Remove from  this device). Then right-click and Download it.

Thanks, Dave. Did so... downloaded the resource again & it still locks up, but this time I can CHECK the Visual Filter for 1599 notes to turn them on. But if I UNCHECK the Visual Filter, only the Task Manager can unlock Logos... guess you're right that it's somehow those notes. Is there a way to refresh the notebook with a clean copy to see if it's the problem? Or do I just have to somehow offload them from the library? (I guess it really wouldn't hurt; I don't know that I use them.)

If you don't use them, delete the Notebook from the Sidebar (it can always be returned from Trash).

Just tried another experiment... close all resources except for DSB Philippians. Verify in Visual filters that no notes & highlights are checked.

1. Check the smaller of the two visible notebooks under notes & highlights. Lockup ensues for short while.
2. After Logos starts responding, uncheck the smaller of the two visible notebooks. Lockup ensues for another short while.
3. After Logos starts responding, check 1599 notebook, the larger of the two visible notebooks. Lockup ensues for a VERY long time. But it eventually starts responding again!
4. When it does, uncheck 1599 notebook. Same response.

But here's what's interesting to me: All notebooks & the category Notes & Highlights are unchecked. So I checked the category without checking either of the two notebooks. SAME VERY LONG lockup!

Weird! That part HAS to be a bug, doesn't it?? Even with NO notebook checked?

I thought you said there were no Notes/Highlights for DSB Phil in the Notes tool? Yet you see the 1599 Notebook in its VF? What happens when you delete that Notebook?
