I guess I had Barclay in WordSearch. I now have two separate versions. Interesting. I guess I could sell one set to someone.
before you jump... there ARE two versions of Barclay's Daily Study Bible (in word search. The original and a revised (new) version.)
The revised version was released after his death. It was as I understand it mostly gender language revision.

You probably know there have been two editions in Logs. It is the revised edition that is commonly linked to in Logos software, so if you have that one it might be the one to keep.

You aren't referring to the Daily Study Bible and the New Daily Study Bible, are you? The latter is... not the Daily Study Bible, which sadly FL doesn't sell anymore.
Correct. I just happen to have it (the older version). (I didn't spend to get the 'revised' version.) One wants the New Daily Study Bible in Logos so the links work. If a Wordsearch user has both versions, the newer one will be more valuable in Logos. If you only have the newer one in Wordsearch, you're set.

This can be a bit confusing, because the older edition is called the Revised Edition. I had Barclay in Wordsearch, and when it came over into Logos yesterday, I thought I got the newer edition by mistake, but I didn't.
Basically, there have been three editions of this series:
mid-late 1950s: The original volumes of "The Daily Study Bible"
1975-76: "The Daily Study Bible, Revised Edition" -
[this is apparently the product I had in Wordsearch, which show in Logos as blue/white books saying "Revised Edition" in the title. WS didn't indicate it was the revised edition, but also didn't have title pages, etc. Faithlife does not appear to sell this edition anymore, but they do still have the files, and the SW license properly converted to this for me.]
~2000-2001 or so: "The New Daily Study Bible" -
[These were published after William Barclay's death, were heavily edited, and most people I know greatly prefer the earlier editions. These are not blue, but have reddish/brown covers. This is what you have to buy now if you want to buy new.]

Whereas I want the Daily Study Bible, because I want the content thereof. (I do have some physical copies of some volumes, but....) It would be lovely if somehow this Wordsearch acquisition magically meant FL could start selling the DSB again.

I don't see it on the list of books Logos is bringing in from Wordsearch. That probably means Wordsearch lost the license to sell it, just as Faithlife did.

It's not on the list because Faithlife already has it.
They had it but it isn’t available. I don’t think they have the license to sell it any more. I‘d think it would show up if they got a license through WS.

I don't. The list is of resources that didn't exist in one of Faithlife's formats at all, excluding even those on CP and Pre-Pub.
I do, however, highly doubt that FL can now sell the DSB. Hence "magically" in one of my earlier posts.
