Software Suggestion

I am new to Logos, having been brought over from WordSearch. I am a lay person and not a pastor. I am excited to see the large number of titles available which were not available in WS such as the ESV Transformation Study Bible notes.

Anyway, I have one suggestion. I use WS, now Logos, on three computers. Not at the same time of course. Would it be possible to have a session, such as the current verses being studied and references opened, saved across platforms so that we could pick up where we left off from one computer when opening another computer? It isn't a big deal and certainly not a deal breaker. Just a convenience.

I'm very happy with Logos so far.

Good morning, Scott. I did discover Layouts and the setup and use of them is quite easy and very convenient. But I wasn't aware that it would save where I left off in my study from one platform to the other. I say that confessing that I very well could have missed that part. At my age, it is quite possible. Thank you for the link to that support article. I will go there and check it out.

By the way, learning to use Logos was a snap. And speaking of the Layouts, learning to use them was also a snap and an improvement from WS's.

You're welcome, John. Please be sure to read the entire help article in Logos so you don't miss how to name them and save them so you can open the updated layout between computers. Here's one of the important parts:

To save changes to a layout:

1. Click the Layouts menu .
2. Right-click the named layout on the left or right side of the Layouts pane, and choose Update to current snapshot. This will save the current snapshot as the latest version of the named layout.
