I add author's names to most of my books. I'm guessing I shouldn't do that until the book is completely done, right?
What about tags? Will they stay when Logos finishes the book?
Are you modifying the title to add the authors' names? User-overridden titles are preserved even when we update resource metadata.
Your tags are always preserved on the books.

Yes, the metadata will be updated to have the right resource type (commentary).
I'd probably recommend not setting the Series field for now, and just waiting for us to fill it in. Until the resource types are updated to "Commentary" (which only we can do), settings Series won't have much effect. So you might as well wait and save yourself the effort (plus be able to take advantage of any standardisation we perform).
I add that to the title. Not the series class. in the library.

Yes, if you're not modifying the Series in the info panel in the Library, that's fine.
