Mobile Ed Courses Activities not Working in Web App

I'm having trouble using Mobile Ed courses on the web app in Linux.  Whenever I write in one of the text boxes in one of the activities, it deletes everything I wrote.  It seems like its based on how long the text box is focused.  If I type a little at a time clicking out of the text box each time I pause, it works fine.  But if I just type the entire thing at once or even type a little and keep the text box focused, it deletes everything in the text box after a few seconds. 

This happens in both Chromium and Firefox.  Note, I also have the desktop version of Logos installed on Windows (I'm dual booting Ubuntu and Windows), and I often will end up booting into Windows just to do the courses.
