Organizing books into Collections
I'm trying to organize the books in my Library. I'm trying to pull the one's that I want to use to study and the ones that I want to read into collections. So I've pulled my Bibles into a bibliography and saved it. I'm prioritizing them and going to make them into a few collections to address certain interests and probably do a couple parallel resource sets
I've done the same thing with my commentaries. Ive got to dig through them and see which one's I prefer. And I'm understanding that while you can get a commentary set... different authors/series... one author from a series may have whats considered the best commentary on a particular book of the Bible but for another Book... it may be another author from another series.
Now. What are some other categories... that I can use, create sub sets of the whole library, where I can eliminate bibles and commentaries.... so that I can review book titles and make list of the Books that I want to be easily findable and then form them into collections.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Thread => Collection rules for sorting commentaries (updated for Logos 8 Base Packages) may be helpful

Due to collection cache refresh time in application have reduced number of collections in my Library (for quicker cache performance). For example, am using mytag for Commentary collections instead of dynamic rules (as mytag refreshes much faster than rule resolution, but does need manual tagging when new resources are added to library).
