RAM eater

I have the Alpha Release 25. I have a saved layout that usually runs around 160-200MB of RAM. All of the sudden, the RAM usage began to increase until I did a force quit around 2.20 GB of RAM.
What would cause this RAM increase?
I have not posted "bugs" before. I saved the error log and can also provide my computer profile for you, if you would like.
Thanks for your help!
Stephen

It always helps the Mac developers if you post your logs along with your problem.
See Joe Miller's very helpful video on how to do this. http://community.logos.com/forums/t/6731.aspx

I am noticing this issue too. I think there is a memory leak in the code. I can't post my logs because in Safari 5 the attach button does not work for the Logos blog.

I take it you mean this attach button?
Because that's the one to use. It can be used to attach all kinds of media and files.

Alan,
Yes, that is the one. I could press it all day long in Safari 4 and Safari 5 and nothing happens. It doesn't give me the option to attach anything.

That's how I do all my attaching. It has always worked for me. I have no idea what else to suggest. [:S] Seems like a Safari problem rather than a Logos one. [:(]

Thank you for the lovely photo, so Scottish! I tested this a little and the inability to attach is a problem on my mac. It happens on both Firefox and Safari. It doesn't happen on my wife's machine under my account. Whatever the popup window for attaching is on this blog site (I assume it is some kind of Java) is blocked by my computer. Who knows why? Yes, both Java and Javascript are enabled in my copy of Safari 5.
I seem to be able to do everything else in the editing tool bar, just that one is not working.

However, these lovely ladies will add some beauty to the forums. [:D]

OK, now you guys are picking on me because my browser can't attach files.
Best I can do is give you a link to my blog. Here are summer vacation photos. After that, everyone back to work, lunch is over!

I have never encountered this problem, so I'm pretty much grasping at straws. Could this possibly be a permissions issue? Run disk Utility and repair permissions. It can't help and may even help in a several ways.

JavaScript does get used for the popup for attaching files and it might be considered a popup, so check both of those, but I used the stock settings for Safari 5 so that shouldn't be any problem if you are using default settings.
