Personal Book Title

I have a personal book that I added to my library.  When I initially added it, I mistyped the title of the book.  Every time I opened the book, the tab used the incorrect title.  So...I went to the personal book menu and corrected the title of the book.  But...every time I open the book, the title shown on the tab is still incorrect.

Any ideas on how to get changes to the book to show up?

Thanks!

Welcome to the Logos user forums, Ben!

I have a personal book that I added to my library.  When I initially added it, I mistyped the title of the book. -X- Every time I opened the book, the tab used the incorrect title.  So...I went to the personal book menu and corrected the title of the book.  But...every time I open the book, the title shown on the tab is still incorrect.

I can confirm that Logos works this way, if (and only if) the description is expanded by a relevant detail: where I put the -X- into your cited quote, the information is missing that you uploaded the book to Logos servers. At least that's how I got Logos to behave this way.

    • Prior to initial uploading, the title was immediately changed when recompiling the PB.
    • Once uploaded, the title stayed fix and was no longer affected by titlechanges in the PB tool.

An uploaded PB is treated more like a FL-produced resource - which also means, you can easily change the title in the library view:

This changed title will work and will also sync to other desktop installations of Logos and Verbum.

Have joy in the Lord! Smile
