LOST....out for the last 2 months

I return and realize how blessed I am not to be a Logos Beta Tester Addict. I give thanks to God that I have had the last two months preparing to leave and unpacking (nearly done!) to side track me from being an inevitable statistic. Those who need support....I'm listening....to all the new features I've missed out on during the last two months: Please, do tell!

D didn't have any major user-facing improvements but it was full of bug fixes and minor tweaks. The COM API might interest you if you like that sort of stuff.

In terms of UI 4.0d is kind of vanilla; this is not a knock on it, 4.0d is a solid release but it lacks the flash of 4.0c. The COM API has some juicy tidbits for those who know how to work it. I don't, so I'm not the one to comment on it. Its benefits will mostly come from 3rd party developers who want to make their applications work in tandem with Logos. JimT has some interesting posts in the Beta forum for his escapades with it.

My favorite new feature is the Logosres hyperlink protocol. It supports popups in note files. This means that you can see popups for any book like bible references.

The ability to set font size by panel instead of resource is handy now. For example you can float a bible and link that bible to a copy in the main application window. You can blow up the floated version so people can read it on a screen without making the copy on your screen way too large.

Clipping (and and other things) export is handy for printing/distributing stuff you've gleaned in your studies.

As I said before, a solid update with many bug fixes but no flashy new feature like word lists or sermon files.

In the Search window when viewing By Book, it has Compressed/Expanded views. This comes in handy when you have a lot of hits on your search and want to bypass some books which you are not interested in viewing for that search.
