I would like to add items to my prayer list from the web app. Although I'm able to open the prayer list successfully, I cannot make any changes to it. Is this a limitation of the web app, or am I doing something wrong?

Only some kinds of documents can be created/edited on Logos web app so far:
It would make sense for Prayer Lists to be the next kind of document to add support for, but I don't have a timeframe for when that would be. Thanks for the question!
