Opening Logos 8 twice (or more)

Is there a way, like most Windows apps, to run logos more than once at a time. I'm not talking opening multiple windows inside of Logos. I want to launch Logos 8 and then launch Logos 8 again to do some other tasks on a second or third screen (I have three 4K monitors) while still working through my primary task on my main screen.

    Greetings Tom

Not being a Windows wallah I don't really know; but I have never heard of anyone doing that.

With my extra screens, I tend to use floating windows to accomplish a similar thing.

Yeah, Currently, I'll stretch my app across multiple screens but then if I want to lookup independently of what I'm currently working on, it's more tedious. This way, I can separate my tasks without messing with my original and be a bit more productive. This is what i do in my office apps and it works well.

I don't know about launching more instances of Logos. I do know that you can open "Floating Tabs". This could be a way of achieving what you want.

One cannot open multiple windows of L8 (apart from floating windows). But Some users who need multiple functions will also run the Verbum App. Verbum includes all the features of L8, but is built for the Liturgical expressions of Christianity so includes a broader canon by default. One drawback is that Verbum has access to all of your resources in L8, but (I believe) installing the 2nd program means installing a 2nd copy of your library which could be several GB depending upon your download options.

Tom, I've run multiple monitors with Logos for years.  You don't need isolated instances, just float the windows/tabs.

I separate tasks into floating panes.  For example right now I've got the main window set up for my sermon prep, the left hand screen has another floating pane set up for my Wednesday night studies, and another floating window holds my Sunday School prep work.

Hmm Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.
