Strange behavior on match criteria when changing language settings
Hi.
Setting 'English' language on Logos 8 and check "Match case", "Match all words forms" and "Match equivalent references" on "Search"
And searching by "blessed" return 376 records.
Change language to "Portuguese" and doing same search return 177 records
Only exact word has returned!
If I search on Portugues Bible a Portuguese word the behavior is repeated: only exact word is returned!
Other example:
In english: "skies" return "sky", "skies". In portuguese "céus" return only "céus".
Can this be considered a bug? Which channel can I report this problem?
Thanks.

The question is: "For what languages does Logos have a stemming routine to support 'match all word forms'?". I have reason to suspect it works only in English and in texts with lemmas provides (Greek, Hebrew, Latin). I hope that a Faithlife employee answers with a definitive answer.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

The text you entered is assumed to be in the UI language. If you know you're searching in a different language, you can indicate that as follows:
inglês:blessed
OR
english:blessed
and with "Match all word forms" on you will get English stemming.

It looks like stemming isn't supported in Portuguese.
