docx file format and images
To get around a major hurtle to build PBs that require massive editing (via font related issues), I have noticed that resource books offered have images of the original book pages rather than the document edited format. My question is centered on placing images within Word .docx files. Instructions indicate to have the inserted image options set to:
"You can paste images from Logos or .bmp (bitmap) format directly into your document. Others must be inserted from the hard drive and with Text Wrapping (on right click menu) set to In Line."
which I have done as instructed. Yet I have errors occurring after building:
[Error] Error while building book: Error compiling resource.
[Error] Exception: LDLS4.Panels.PersonalBookBuilderPanel.PersonalBookBuilderException: Error compiling resource.
at LDLS4.Panels.PersonalBookBuilderPanel.PersonalBookConverter.CompileResource(LicenseManager licenseManager, String manifest, ResourceDocumentData metadata, IPersonalBookBuildLog buildLog, TempFiles tempFiles, IWorkState workState)
at LDLS4.Panels.PersonalBookBuilderPanel.PersonalBookConverter.<CreatePersonalBookWork>d__2.MoveNext()
at Libronix.Utility.Threading.AsyncWorkerTask`1.EnumMoveNext()

at System.Runtime.ExceptionServices.ExceptionDispatchInfo.Throw()
at Libronix.Utility.Threading.AsyncWorkItem.Verify()
at LDLS4.Panels.PersonalBookBuilderPanel.PersonalBookViewModel.<CreatePersonalBookWork>d__137.MoveNext()
Is there someone who could be more clear as to what I'm doing wrong? Or, a suggestion as to how these resources offer these kinds of image formatted materials so as I could mimic them to build PBs of my own.
I hope I'm clear in my presentation of the issue.
Thanks in advance.
Darrell

Upload a screenshot of what you have attempted to do. Then upload the image and the relevant part of the docx file so we can try it.

Thanks so much for you doing this. I'll try to repeat those steps.
1. place ".bmp" image in docx file.
2. Set inline text.
Ok. above is the two steps what I've attempted to do, hoping this is what you asked of me.
Next I will try and upload the necessary associated files, consisting with the .docx file and the image.
The "Options" button is for attachments, but could only attach only one file, even though it says "Add/Update", and seems to not like ".bmp" files !!!???
Thanks again.

Hi Darrell,
I tried to build your attached Word document and Logos (version 9.0 SR-2) did not build and gave an error. Looking into the Word document showed that it basically consistent only of the image, no text.
I put in some arbitrary text (formatted as title style and two Heading 1 styles) to give the PB compiler something to work with - and voila: 0 errors, 0 warnings. This is the updated document: 7752.wenzel000.docx
The graphic shows in my compiled PB in Logos:
Thus I think it's not the graphic that's the issue, but having only graphics in your file (I understand that you can't share the full file for copyright reasons). Maybe the compiler will accept many pictures - but I've never tried making such a book and actually it wouldn't satisfy my needs at all. But please come back and share your experiences.
Have joy in the Lord!
