changing to new computer

I am new to Logos. I have to get a new computer. I know when I install Logos on the new computer everything will download but will my setting (like footnote formats) download and update or will I need to set the settings again on the new computer desktop? Thanks

Congratulations on your new Mac – great choice  ;-)

In theory all your settings should be synced up to the cloud (that is why the program takes so long to open and close)

In practice things can go wrong. My advice is to do a clean install of the engine on your new computer and then get a fresh copy of your library downloaded. Remember that there are options to choose how much of your library you want instant access to when you get a fresh instance set up. If you have a large library the received wisdom is to let the download (and subsequent index) happen overnight.
