Note Icon, notes in general and delete a tag?
1.I know I can have more than one tag on a note... but is it possible to delete a tag I put on a note?
2. I notice the note icon sometimes appears to the left of a verse number and sometimes to the right of a verse number. What determines where the note icon appears?
3. Is there a limit as to how many notes I may have?
4. And last, is there a way to sort my notes by the note tags?

Yes - to the right of the tag is a small "x". Click it to remove the tag from the note

If you create a note against the reference, the icon will appear to the left of the verse number.
If you create a note against the selected text, the icon will appear to the left of that selected text which could easily be to the right of the verse number

I believe there is a limit but I don't know the number and it is very large!

No - but you can filter down to specific tags using the browser in the Notes Tool
